This dance is the part of the drama on Shankhadhar, Founder of Nepal Era, played in the cultural event to mark Mha Puja and New Year (Nepal Era 1138) Celebration in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on October 21, 2017. The cultural event was organized by Newa Cultural Society of Alberta (NCSA) with the support from the City of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The artists in the dance are Ms. Rupisha Nyachhyon, Ms. Sambridhi Shrestha and Ms. Prisha Shrestha. The dance and drama was directed by Dr. Deepesh Shrestha. Newa Cultural Society of Alberta (NCSA) is a local organization established under Societies Act of Alberta to practice, promote and preserve Newa culture and traditions in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada for the current and future generations. Dr. Hemanta Joshi is the founding president of NCSA.
