Send this video to a P320's strongest defender **** It's never too late to do the right thing. When I conceived of this channel years ago, I never thought we'd be breaking major National News. The fact that so many in our industry care about protecting innocent life has renewed my sense of hope in humanity and strengthened my resolve. As mentioned, when I started looking into this, I had hoped I would find definitive evidence to back Sig Sauer, and help close the case. I found mothers, families, honest people who were hurt in the line of duty, and scientific facts supporting the theory that the P320's internal safeties, as delivered, are inadequate. Oh, and the videos of them going off in the holster without a trigger pull. To be honest, a big red flag for all of us probably SHOULD have been the whole drop-safe thing. But hindsight is always 20-20. As the FBI's Ballistics Research Team wrote, in their report on page 32, quote; "However, testing did indicate with movements representing those common to a law enforcement officer it is possible to render the Striker Safety Lock inoperable and ineffective at preventing the striker from impacting a chambered round if complete sear engagement is lost. It is important to note that the Striker Safety Lock, by design, is the last safety in line to prevent an unintended discharge as it is in place to protect against a secondary sear notch override." All that's left, then, is to 'prove' the sear can indeed lose engagement with the sear notches. I believe we are only a short time away from this happening. It's unfortunate the way Sig chose to handle this. Everyone loves a comeback story, and I still believed that most of the community would 'forgive' them, if they did the right thing. However, I'm no longer sure that is possible... If this whole episode had taught us anything, it should be this: Listen to your voice. Don't be afraid to stand up for what's right, even if it's unpopular. And NEVER let them intimidate you. Even though I'm only one man, together, WE are far stronger than they can ever be.
