VT #39 - The Burning Crusade's Writing was Out of this World

Today I discuss The Burning Crusade and how for better or worse it had some of the most out-there writing of any WoW expansion. Also, I neglected to comment on it in the video but as I'm sure anyone who's interacted with Kael'thas in recent years has noticed, his voice lines have all been swapped out to a new actor after his original actor, Quinton Flynn, was accused of sexual misconduct. My apologies if I'm underinformed or misinformed about any of this but my understanding is that he hasn't been found guilty of anything and actually had to get a restraining order against his accuser. So my inclination is to say that it's a real bum deal that his work got scrubbed from the game with no good reason. But I suspect that decision won't be reversed. Though again, I haven't investigated the matter very thoroughly. Patreon: / slugsage
