In today’s cozy video, I start off in the morning by making maple pecan biscotti. I get to work on weaving a small melon basket. Something about working with the hands and creating something beautiful, makes life feel just a little more beautiful. I embroider little apples on a doily to go in the basket to add an extra cute charm. After it was finished I would wait to use it. So I fill it with fresh apples and make an apple frangipane tart. Stay safe and warm 🍂 Julia #basketweaving #autumnbaking #cozyvlog Maple pecan bisociti: 12 tablespoons butter 3/4 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp maple extract 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 1/2 cups flour 2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 cup pecans White chocolate for drizzling or dipping Beat butter and sugar well. And in eggs and extracts mixing well again. Fold in the rest of the ingredients and shape into two logs. About 3x12 size. Bake 350 for 25 minutes. Let cool 30 minutes. Cut and bake again at 300 for 18 minutes.
