(25 Jul 1995) Natural Sound Fighting continues near the government-controlled town of Tuzla in northeastern Bosnia between government army troops and Bosnian Serbs. APTV has obtained pictures from the front line with the 2nd Corps of the Bosnian Army as they fought around Mount Majevica on Sunday. The Majevica hills near the northern government stronghold of Tuzla have been the center of intense fighting since last year. Bosnian government troops continued to consolidate their position in and around the hills, mobilising their tanks and guns. The nearby town of Tuzla is now home to thousands of refugees who fled there this month after the Serb capture of the U-N safe haven of Srebrenica. The soldiers with the 2nd Corps cheered as they fired a mortar shell and hit a Serbian target in a distant hill.
