Movement disorders are neurological conditions that affect the speed, fluency, quality, coordination, and ease of movement. They can present with an excess of movement, a reduction of activity, or problems with coordination. Each movement disorder has unique symptoms, some with several subtypes. There is a phenomenological overlap between some of these subtypes. We aim in this video to shed light on describing and identifying movement disorders to help you approach patients in the clinic using analytical means to reach correct phenomenological diagnoses.
