Beeman Sportsman Dual Caliber Break Barrel - Review and Testing

The Beeman Dual Caliber Break Barrel surprised me with the ease of use and the overall quality that is offers. I expected it to be harder to change the barrel and I expected that the scope would have to be sighted each time the barrel was swapped out. I was impressed by the fact that the barrel swaps out easily and that the point of impact was not changed drastically. This break barrel is easy to cock and easy to shoot because it is not overly powerful. I was able to get descent groups with both calibers. In my opinion it is a great option for shooters that want to have both calibers (.177 and .22) but might not have the budget to get two different rifles. The .177 works great for general plinking and then you can change out for the .22 and go do some small game hunting. This makes it very cool and because the process of swapping out the barrel is not time consuming or difficult it is a very user friendly gun. The Beeman Dual Caliber is a Chinese made rifle but it is a good quality gun and should not be overlooked just because its made in China. The wood stock is nice and the rifle functions smoothly with acceptable accuracy.
