Nate "Speed King" Denver has been defeated so the next Elite King I'll be facing in Need for Speed ProStreet is another king that tends to be a laughingstock for the players who raced him due to him being easy and that is the Grip King Ray Krieger. Now in the case of Ray Krieger, the blame is more on his car being the culprit as to why he was easy to beat. Even in max settings, the BMW M3 E92 is just too weak that I bet even a light to medium tuned grip car would be enough to beat the Grip King but thanks to the AI overhaul mod by R4BBITG4MING, this changes everything. So as seen from the Nate Denver race where he got buffed to the point where he's competitive enough for a good battle for the Speed King title but here this is where your A game is put to the test and Ray Krieger is so buffed that I had to do some "under the hood" changes on the Battle Machine RX-7. Now you'll notice when I show the blueprint on the Battle Machine RX-7 that it has power and weight specs that are not normal that it can't be achieved with normal gameplay and that's because I tinkered around with VltEd because the first time I tried to race the buffed Ray Krieger, he's so buffed that normal tuning is not possible to beat him and when you see the blueprint on the buffed Ray Krieger M3 E92, you'll see why I had to do some changes on my RX-7. But anyway, I buffed the RX-7 to the point where it's a balanced battle between me and the Grip King and it was so fun to finally have a challenge against the Grip King. In the first race he already left me in the dust but since it's a Time Attack challenge, I had to focus on the track trying to get a quicker time than Ray and you'll notice already that Ray Krieger is pulling very competitive times that I had to bring my best in grip racing. In the second race which is a Sector Shootout event, Krieger once again left me in the dust but I was able to get those sectors faster than him and I was able to win with all sectors captured. The final race was where I like it the most because it's the traditional 1v1 duel and this is where Krieger's true pace showed up but while he was quick, he made a lot of mistakes especially on the Monroe Ridge and Budweiser Balcony sections of the reverse Willow Springs "Big Willow" track and he did a good job of keeping up with me as he was quicker on some sectors but it wasn't enough and from there I managed to win and become the Grip King. Overall while it's not as close as the Nate Denver race, Ray Krieger definitely improved to the point that he's no longer a joke.
