Watch as we tackle this challenge! We’re boring out the eye of a huge A-frame from a Caterpillar 789 dump truck. This massive component is critical for the truck’s operation, it connects the rear wheels to the chassis and we’re aiming for extreme precision! We're using our trusty Sir Meccanica WS2 portable line borer to bore out the eye to precise tolerances, but the extremely hard material is putting our tooling to the test.
