The 2010 Seattle Hempfest in Honor of Jack Herer

The 2010 Seattle Hempfest has dedicated itself the memory of Jack Herer: by all counts the most influential activist in the Re-Legalization Movement. What I don't understand is how so many of the speakers are supporters of Oaksterdam's Prop19. Jack was vehemently opposed to Prop19 which is why he was promoting his own initiative for California: CCHH. I, and many other activists, believe that Prop19 will eliminate or minimize an adults right to grow Marijuana. Furthermore we believe that it will destroy much of Prop215 which currently allows some caregivers to grow as many as 99 plants, in some counties. We feel that Prop19 needs to go down in flames this November. The only people that will profit from Prop19 are people like Richard Lee and the few millionaires that can afford to secure a "Mega Grow" facility. On top of that we believe Richard Lee's plan, all along, has been to marginalize or eliminate the home grower.
