What would you say is the greatest neighborhood on your continent? For me there’s no question: it’s the Centro Histórico of Mexico City. With 700 years of history stretching back to its days as the Aztec capital, Tenochtitlán, no other North American neighborhood boasts such multilayered history and geopolitical prominence.
