Fengjing Ancient Town, located in the southwest of Shanghai, under the jurisdiction of Jinshan District of Shanghai, is the most important gateway to the southwest of China. Fengjing Town, as one of the famous Chinese historic and cultural towns and one of the eight new scenic spots in Shanghai, was historically called the famous town between Wu and Yue Kingdoms for its location in the intersection of Wu Kingdom and Yue Kingdom. Fengjing is a typical ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River. The ancient town is located in well-developed water system with 52 bridges, including Zhihe Bridge built as early as in the Yuan Dynasty (nearly 700 years ago).
