#washoku #japanesefoods #dryfoods Hijiki is one of the seaweed, which is rich in nutrition. It has a lot of calcium and dietary fiber, so you can make your bones stronger and keep your intestines healthy by eating hijiki. 0:36 start cooking 7:07 tasting ingredients 1 pack (13g) of dried hijiki 3 of shiitake mushrooms 1 of fried tofu 100g of carrot 1 Tbsp of vegetable oil 200ml of strained water of shiitake mushrooms 2 Tbsps of sugar 2 Tbsps of sake 2 Tbsps of mirin 2 Tbsps of soy sauce Green vegetable such as green soy beans recipe 1. Soak shiitake mushrooms in water. It takes a long time to make them soft, so I recommend soaking them overnight. On the other hand, hijiki needs only 10 minutes to make them soft. Put hijiki in a bowl and fill water. Then let stand for about 10 minutes. 2. Peel and cut carrot into about 2cm rectangular slices. Cut aburaage or fried tofu into same size of the carrot. 3. When the shiitake mushrooms get soft, slice them. Don’t throw the strained water away, it's used to make dashi stock. 4. Drain hijiki over a strainer. 5. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan, then add carrot, siitake mushrooms, aburaage and hijiki in it and fry them for a few minutes. 6. Add strained water of the shiitake mushrooms, and sugar, sake, mirin and soy sauce in the pan and simmer over a medium heat for about 10 minutes. 7. Turn off the heat, and add green soy beans in it. 8. Take the beans out of the pods and put them in the pan. You can see other dry food dishes.
