Croatia trip video in 4K I have made during my trip in 2025 to Pula in Croatia, including aerial viers taken with my drone. Pula (Pola) is one of Croatia’s most fascinating destinations, blending stunning Adriatic beaches with extraordinary history and culture. In this video, discover the best of Pula: marvel at the impressive Roman Amphitheatre (Arena), one of the best-preserved in the world, stroll through the Old Town with its charming streets, and visit landmarks such as the Temple of Augustus, the Arch of the Sergii, and the Twin Gates. Explore the lively Forum Square and the medieval Cathedral of the Assumption, enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of cafes, restaurants, and local markets, and take in the stunning coastal views from the Pula Fortress. With its unique mix of Roman heritage, lively Mediterranean lifestyle, and crystal-clear Adriatic waters, Pula offers an unforgettable travel experience. As always thank you for watching and for your great comments! It lies at the southern tip of the Istrian peninsula and had a population of 52,220 as of 2021. The city is renowned for its outstanding collection of ancient Roman monuments, especially the Pula Arena—one of the world’s best-preserved Roman amphitheaters. Human settlement in the area dates back to the Paleolithic era, with Homo erectus remains found near Pula. The region also hosted Neolithic communities and Bronze Age hilltop fortifications known as “gradine.” Greek influence is evidenced by pottery and a statue fragment of Apollo, and local legend ties the city’s origins to the mythical Colchians fleeing the Golden Fleece. Throughout history, Pula has thrived on industries like winemaking, fishing, shipbuilding, and tourism. It served as the administrative center for Istria from Roman times up until 1991, when that status shifted to Pazin.
