This food processing plant processes and packages cured hams, and other meat products. Speeding up the packaging process is what the UR10 collaborative robots were focused on. See it in action here. A product quality decision in a positive pressure clean-room had lead to a decrease in productivity from 8 to 5 cycles per minute. Implementation of the Universal Robot allowed the plant to increase productivity back to the 8 cycles per minute while retaining all the new product quality gains. The operators feel completely safe working side-by-side with the Cobot.
