"Hello, this is Rich at Polished Bliss, and in this video I'm going to tell you a little bit about the Metro Vac Air Force Blaster, starting with its technical features and then demonstrating the various uses it can be put to. In a nutshell, the Air Force Blaster is a highly effective vehicle dryer. It features a powerful 4 hp dual ball bearing motor and twin fan drive that delivers a peak airflow rate of just over 330 mph. All air passing through the unit is filtered to remove particulates and then gently warmed by heat from the motor, which aids the drying process and helps to prevent water spotting. Out of the box, the Air Force Blaster comes with a 3 m heavy duty hose, a general purpose non-scratch blower nozzle and five additional attachments, including (i) an airflare (for drying large panel areas); (ii) a crevice tool (for blowing out panel gaps), and; (iii) a precision micro-nozzle (for directing the airflow into small, hard to reach spots). The four-wheeled dolly shown in this video is an optional extra, but one that we highly recommend. It not only helps to prevent the Air Force Blaster from falling over and getting scuffed during use, but also makes it much easier to move the unit around your work area. In fact, you don't even need to pick it up and move it at all -- it will just follow you around as you work! So, why use an Air Force Blaster? The most obvious reason is because it facilitates touchless drying. Some modern paint finishes seem to be highly susceptible to marring no matter how carefully you treat them, so cutting out the need to touch your bodywork with a towel is a clear benefit, particularly if you find the pat drying method a chore. Furthermore, towel drying may work on large panels, but is next to useless when it comes to wheels, grills, vents and panel gaps. How often do you finish towel drying, only then to witness water dribbling out of such places for hours to come? Using an Air Force Blaster solves this problem by blowing every last drop of water away, leaving all surfaces dry and spot free. In summary, the Air Force Blaster is certainly an indulgence, but it works incredibly well and comes with a five-year warranty. In addition to its obvious uses, it can also be used to quickly dry wet engines and blow dust and debris out of interior vents and seat runners. Combine all of this with the smile it will put on your face and it becomes a priceless bit of kit to own.
