The Green Music Program presents: Planting for the Future fundraiser. Several artists of the Green Music Program (@greenmusicprogram on Instagram) perform from around the world via livestream to raise money for tree-planting initiatives. This video is the UK performance by DUEL NATIVE. Trees are one of the essential tools we have to fight climate change by soaking up carbon dioxide. They provide us with shade to reduce our energy bills in the summer, help filter the air of harmful pollutants, mitigate flooding, and provide habitat for wildlife in a world increasingly dominated by concrete. The organisations this concert will benefit are Little Free Tree and Keep Durham Beautiful. Suggested donation is $10 and greater donations are welcomed. Planting a Little Free Tree is one small way you can help tilt the balance in a positive direction. Trees are nature's miracle, reducing pollution, producing oxygen and providing a home to wildlife, all of which help our environment thrive. Keep Durham Beautiful (https://keepdurhambeautiful.org/) Since 2004, Keep Durham Beautiful has united with communities and volunteers, removing thousands of tons of litter, planting and distributing thousands of trees, caring for dozens of community gardens, and bringing people together to take care of Durham's Environment, in North Carolina.
