In this video, I take you inside Ramadan in Indonesia, the world’s largest Muslim country. I begin my journey in Jakarta, breaking my fast at Masjid Agung Sunda Kelapa, surrounded by locals sharing in the spirit of iftar. The streets are packed with food vendors, families, and worshippers, creating an electric atmosphere as the call to prayer echoes across the city. I meet up with local indonesians and my friend Waseems Way to explore how Indonesia embraces Ramadan, from its bustling night markets to the powerful Taraweeh prayers that fill every mosque to capacity. The energy is unlike anything I’ve ever seen—thousands of worshippers gathered, standing shoulder to shoulder in deep devotion. But the real highlight of the night is Istiqlal Mosque, the largest mosque in Southeast Asia, where over 100,000 worshippers unite in prayer. I spend the entire night here, experiencing Qiyam-ul-Layl, reciting Quran, and feeling the unmatched spirituality of Ramadan at its peak. As Fajr approaches, the connection between the worshippers and their faith is truly overwhelming. From the vibrant iftars to the mesmerizing night prayers, Ramadan in Indonesia is an experience like no other. The mosques overflow with believers, the streets are alive with late-night gatherings, and the devotion of the people is truly inspiring. Whether you're a traveler, a seeker of faith, or simply curious about how the world’s largest Muslim country celebrates Ramadan, this journey will leave you speechless. Stay tuned for the Eid video from Indonesia!
