An important demographic! Are most MPs totally blind of this very large constituency of voters? Meetings have been held at the House of Commons & House of Lords in relation to Housing Council Tenants - but RSL or HA tenants tend to be overlooked in any discussions. Bankers with incestuous links to the Labour Party - with a vested interest - tend to sit on the Board of "Trustees" of RSLs/HAs. The Trustees [never ever the Tenants] get vastly inflated totally unrealistic salaries - with an outrageous bonus culture - whilst the tenants are treated like scum suffering outrageous deprivation and serious ill health - caused by the housing dilapidation & deliberate management negligence, incompetence & treating tenants with no respect & caring not a jot. Many tenants are now suffering in the cold with no adequate heating or hot water contributed by the cold damp weather - totally unknown in the Third World. Many tenants are well known to the management to be suffering from Health matters. Yet there is no consideration. Tenants suffer. Bad Unlawful Housing conditions mean Advanced Mortality. Many tenants are dying prematurely due to BAD Housing. Staff at the larger Housing Associations tend - invariably - to abuse the most elderly, disabled & most vulnerable tenants. Government appears to care not! Local Authority Environment Health Officers in some west London Boroughs [32+1] do NOT tend to enforce their legal duties [As some well qualified EHOs paid by the Local Authority that relies on RSL/HA accommodation to house particular groups under statututory duties have previously entered into a deal - much of your property os sub standard - we the Local Authorioty will not enforce Housing Standards if we can obtain Housing from you to uphold our statutory duty to house particular groups of society] [Many of the EHOs have been previously informed not to uphold statutory legal duties in relation to "Fitness for Human Habitation"]. When will a CARING Government concern itself with HOUSING? It only seeks to care about BANKSTERS being able to obtain BANKSTER BONUSES - DIRECTORS DIVIDENDS - PERQUISITE PROFITS - always avoiding Tax in Temperate Tax Havens. If we do not care for others - there is NO point in Government... It has shown us all that it CARES NOT! Too many laws are in place but they are selectively ENFORCED - the RICH avoid their consequences - the POOR are always the target!
