I attempt another Harvard physics problem from the Harvard Physics Department website. These physics problems consist of classic problems and new problems. They are made to be quite difficult. The Harvard Physics Problems Challenge is to choose one of the 100-ish problems and to solve the physics problem. However, I cannot look up any references or look up any equations. All the problem solving has to be derived or recalled from memory. Majority of the time I spend 1 to 2 hours solving the problem, and I have failed at every single attempt so far. I probably wouldn't survive Harvard to be honest. Feel free to check the available physics problems from the Harvard website. The solutions are also listed on there. Assume that the drag force from the air is F = −mαv. What is the speed of the ball, vf , when it hits the ground? (An implicit equation is sufficient.) Does the ball spend more time or less time in the air than it would if it were thrown in vacuum?" The Solution to This Week's Problem: https://www.physics.harvard.edu/uploa... Let me know if you gave it a try!
