Honestly, this video feels more like a milestone than a battle between a few Spriteswap characters. these are my works before I made Spongebob and Dexter, even before Chowder from Cartoon Network Toon Creator. The characters in Team 2 are all Spriteswap files that I uploaded to Esnips. It all started with my first Sprite swap character was PaRappa to Toon Megaman, thanks to J. Newman for leaving the PCX in the character file. At the time, I was using MCM instead of Fighter Factory 3 because I didn't know it existed. Most of the Spriteswaps were uploaded to Esnips, or some were just renamed and changed in status, but some characters were lost after Esnips shut down. The characters in Team 1 were created after the early release of Chowder. given the negative reception of the characters I released, it also attracted some toxic people and comments. I switched to RPG Maker. When I was making the game with my Taiwanese friends, I incorporated some MUGEN references, although they didn't quite understand what I meant. During this time, I secretly created characters for MUGEN, at the time, I had no plan but was full of energy for creation. But hey, I do realize I made a mistake, but I do accept feedback and want to improve. Think about it, making progress and improvements for fun is something we did when we were children. Maybe I am mostly negative, but deep down I always have a desire to break through. Even now, I am still creating despite my exhaustion. When the video was finished, it felt like I was sending a love letter to my younger self. All of these characters were downloaded from my Google Drive, but I'm grateful someone found CSS Wario, one of my spriteswaps from Esnips. They've all already released in AK1 MUGEN Community, but I'm still considering releasing Felix and Frost, though. Now it's 2026, and my MUGEN work is focused solely on the SpongeBob remake, though other characters like Dexter, Chowder, Oshawott, and Snivy would receive their final updates.
