Who would have thought that Might & Magic X would ever see the light of the day, especially given how miserable MM9 was and how Ubisoft until now has pushed the IP far away from its roots with games like Clash of Heroes and Heroes VI? Well, the new Might & Magic X: Legacy from Limbic Entertainment may not exactly be one of the most expensive RPGs ever made (the 3D graphics in particular are rather poor), but it sure seems to have some proper old school credentials. The gameplay features party creation, turn-based combat, step-based movement (i.e. as in the pre-MM6 games) and even boasts some reused sound effects and other assets from earlier entries in the series. It's not an easy game, either, and getting too far into the overworld can get you killed (or, worse yet, leave you dangerously low on gold and other vital resources).
