With the price of everything going up (including power) I decided to finally take the plunge into setting up my own solar system. I needed to set up a small system as a proof of concept to see if it was even viable in my area to be able to supply power year-round. After a year of testing and making small improvements I decided to take the plunge, go all-in and upgrade my small solar system to a larger one in order to take most of my home off-grid. I wanted to create a little backstory on my solar progress over the last year and a half, from where I started to where I am now. Started with a 12v system with a 2200W inverter, 100Ah FL Battery and 1 - 100W panel.
