WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME, my sweet behbehs! Originally, this was going to be one, biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig video, but given our attention spans (and spicy content), I’ve decided to break it up into three parts. This is Part 1, where I’m going to cover the fundamentals of consent (using the F.R.I.E.S. acronym), 7 common myths about consent at ABDL conventions and meetups, how to navigate consent in different spaces, and power dynamics in the ABDL community (and how that can complicate consent). Part 2 will explore what GOOD consent looks like in action and how organizers can implement clear policies. And Part 3 will discuss consent in dark ageplay environments. 😈 This video is not about behaviors that are obvious assault! Today, we’re going to go over gray areas, where folks cross boundaries and cause discomfort without even knowing that they’re doing it. This video isn’t about blame, it’s about learning and changing our behaviors so that we can become better humans. Listen, a lot of us are a wee neurodiverse and have problems with context clues (which is fiiiine). So, it’s important that we keep an open dialogue. How else are folks gonna learn if we don’t talk about it? I’ve been to A LOT of meetups and conventions and I’ve got a lot of examples and stories for you, my adorable little ones. We’ll cover: • What consent actually means (FRIES: Freely Given, Reversible, Informed, Enthusiastic, Specific) • Why clothing, roles, or dynamics do NOT imply consent • Trauma-informed consent in age regression spaces • Common myths about ABDL community behavior • How enthusiasm and communication protect everyone • Public space vs. dark play space expectations • Power imbalances between caregivers, littles, creators, and event staff And so much more! There’s a lot to cover, so let’s get to it! Thank you so much for your support, my little lovies. I hope you find this info valuable. Please share it with folks you think could learn from it.
