A fairly common question about acrylic and the possibilities of engraving on it. There is no single setting for acrylics, they all have their own quirks depending on their composition. Since not everything revolves around black acrylic and white engraving on it, I was interested in seeing and testing other colors and types (matte, clear, acid, etc). To engrave such a large number of types of acrylic, you need a UV laser. Testing was carried out using a 5W UV with water cooling, the maximum lens F420. If you use, for example, a F254 lens, then you need to adjust the settings for the lens, a more focused beam will give more saturated results on the same type of acrylic. For myself, I clearly understood that acrylic and UV laser are a separate world of engraving and activity, because there are a lot of options and possibilities.
