A group of people rejected him, claiming he was born out of wedlock and that his mother was a prostitute. They killed him according to Allah's judgment, not by divine decree. Who were these people? They were the Jews. The Jews disbelieved Jesus, saying he was never a prophet. Jesus, Allah forbid, was the son of a fornicator. We ask Allah for protection, even though Allah says: ((And his mother was a truthful woman)). They said, "Kill him." They killed him but did not crucify him. But they killed him but did not crucify him A legal ruling, not a predestined one. They were deceived, so they killed this person who was made to appear so, and they crucified him and said, “We have killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary” So they were killers of him according to God’s legal ruling, but according to God’s predestined ruling, “They did not kill him for certain, but God raised him up to Himself.” A second group of extremists claimed he was the son of God, the third of three, and made him a god alongside Allah. Who are these people? The Christians. The Christians are liars in what they said, and we disavow ourselves before Allah Almighty of what they said about him, and we disavow ourselves before Allah of what the Jews also said about him. We bear witness that Jesus is the servant of Allah and His Messenger, and that his mother is truthful and that she guarded her chastity, and that she is a virgin. But the example of Jesus before Allah is like the example of Adam, whom He created from dust, then He said to him, “Be,” and he was. Student: The Jewish sheikhs, according to their law, killed the child born out of wedlock, you mean? The Sheikh: No, they never lied to him.
