Cleft Lip and Palate is a serious topic, and I believe people should show awareness and think about those who need to live with this and how hard it would be for them to do basic things like eating. I hope this ted talk will inform others about the importance of this topic! I am a grade seven student and I attend Centennial Public School. I once watched an interview on TVO Kids about a girl who has a cleft lip, and my orthodontist supports Operation Smile, so every time I go to get my braces tightened, I see the sad but happy stories and photos of children and adults with a cleft. This is why I chose this topic for my project, and I am very happy I did since I learned so many important new things!
