N Scale Model Railroad - Layout Update #13 At Eagle Creek - November 2024.

Hi everyone. In this layout update, I show you the current progress made around the layout plus a quick look at a new loco. The biggest achievement of the last couple months is the small extension I've added to the intermodal yard area of the layout. I've gained about 2ft 6ins in length and reworked the trackwork so the yard doesn't look quite so cramped and busy. I've also gained a couple of storage tracks, something my layout desperately needs so I'm happy with that too. You'll also see the latest building kit I've finished, another pikestuff kit that I've painted into my own scheme and found a place for on the layout. The new loco is another Kato, their latest SD40-2 release in UP paint, It's sound fitted too.
