1. Introduction to SNaP | Professor Bob Smith | The Spatial Nature Planning Forum

At the end of April 2025, the DICE Innovation Team, supported by E3 Sharing Space for Nature, delivered the first Spatial Nature Planning (SNaP) Forum, to explore how a systematic conservation planning (SCP) approach can help to deliver the best outcomes for people and nature in multifunctional landscapes and seascapes. Over 50 people came together for talks, workshops and training, including a field trip hosted by Kent Wildlife Trust to take a look at the practical conservation landscape in Kent before the Forum began. This is the first talk of the day, 'Introduction to the Spatial Nature Planning Forum (SNaP)' presented by Professor Bob Smith.
