How to Machine Polish | Swirl Removal | Paint Enhancement Detail + Protect | Detailing my Jaguar XJR

In this video I am detailing my 1997 Jaguar XJR 4.0 Supercharged. The Anthracite Black metallic paintwork is in very good condition but it is swirled up and a machine polish gloss enhancement detail is needed to get it ready for show car season. I am doing the detail on my driveway, the reasons for this are: Machine polishing can be done by any competent enthusiast. Machine polishing isn't as scary as some may find. Paintwork can be brought up to a reasonable standard. Not everyone has a unit or garage and therefore driveway is necessary Detailing is therapeutic! In this video I have washed, clayed, polished and sealed the paint using my choice of products. Note in previous videos. I've used a paint depth gauge and I recommend you use one too, I haven't recorded any readings on video here which is a little bit of an oversight but I would recommend anyone machine polishing paintwork uses one. Here I am not performing any real cutting of the clearcoat, more just optimising and refining the paint to remove the light swirls and wash marring. As a Nanolex approved detailer, I tend to use mainly Nanolex products and I do like their polishes and pre-washes and shampoos. I have opted to protect my paintwork using Zaino Z2 Pro polymer show car polish. Its not an especially long term protection but its old school show polish that protects and I am a huge Zaino fan.
