https://portraitsinfaith.org/royden-j... BECOMING A MEDICAL INTUITIVE One day I was sitting in a bar, talking to a friend about spirituality. There was a couple sitting behind us having glasses of wine. They got up to leave, but right after they left, the man, the husband, came running back in and said, “My wife has passed out. Call an ambulance.” Well, I had all my industrial first aid tickets, so I ran out as a first aid attendant and checked this woman out to make sure she was breathing. I couldn't find anything. All of a sudden, I heard this thunderous voice in my head. And the voice said, “Look inside, check inside her.” I’d always been a Doubting Thomas, always been one to say, “What do you mean?” Like, this is crazy. And the voice said, “Close your eyes and look inside.” And I did. And I saw that she was pregnant. So I told the husband, “Your wife is pregnant. She’s about six weeks pregnant. So, when you go to the hospital, make sure they don’t do anything; they’ll compromise the birth.” He got very angry and said, “That's the lowest thing anyone could ever tell me!” I said, “Why?” He said, “We were in here celebrating the fact that we might adopt children because my wife can’t have children.” The wife woke up and I told her. The ambulance people came, and I told them. I had this conviction that she was pregnant and if they didn’t stop something from happening now, she could lose the child. So, they went to the hospital, and I guess with all my insistence, they checked, and she was six weeks pregnant. And since then, she’s had a boy and a girl. That was the first time I allowed the voice to speak through me—wherever that voice comes from. And I found the biggest thing is not to ask questions, just to trust. It has never ever steered me in a negative direction.
