I finally had a chance the maiden the TopRc Model T28 from www.gator-rc.com. I thought this project would be fast but I was wrong. Bigger does take longer and has more needed small piece assembly. The plane can be hard to move by yourself. The upside is its a nice value for the price, it looks amazing in the air and the radial is outstanding. Two maiden flights and I have learned a great deal. I still need to soften the springs some more. I am adding either stronger servos for the gear doors or using springs, the prop is a 28x16, I will go down to a 28x12. The UMS 180 engine sounds amazing but really needs a full time 100% fuel pump. I had to adjust my curve in order to bring it to life. Otherwise its a show stopper that you cant go wrong with. Its available in three colors and can fit a twin cyl 100 2 stroke or a radial if you can put in the work to rebuild the nose mount. Get yours below.
