This is a passion project I’ve been dreaming up for a long time–a new video series about going solo, getting off the beaten track, away from the typical surf destinations, and exploring lesser-known corners of the globe–trips based on adventure rather than purely waves alone. I didn’t score anything world-class on this particular venture, but I checked out a new part of the world, overcame dozens of logistical nightmares, surfed alone, and didn’t freeze to death, so all things considered, it was a successful trip.
