Whereas the five borders of zygomatic bone include the anterosuperior (orbital border) and the anteroinferior (maxillary border). It also includes posterosuperior (temporal border), posteroinferior border, and posteromedial border. ▬ 📌 Processes of Zygomatic Bone Our cheekbone or the zygomatic bone has 3 main processes: 👉 Frontal Process 👉 Temporal Process 👉 Mamillary Process ▬ 📌 Zygomatic Bone Attachments Very important muscles and ligaments find attachment to the zygomatic bone. They function to either move our eyelids or our lips. There are a total of five attachments to the zygomatic bone: the zygomaticus major and zygomaticus minor muscles, the masseter muscle and levator palpebrae superioris, and levator labii superioris. The mnemonic to remember three of these is” Men Laugh Less”. Where: 📍 M stands for Masseter Muscle 📍 L for Levator palpebrae superioris 📍 L for Levator labii superiors Learning is not over yet!
