We're taking a quick look at the Sony Alpha A57, their newest SLT camera that just replaced the previous Alpha A55 as their cheapest SLR. The Alpha A57 will go for about 800 dollars, putting it in a slightly higher price bracket than the Canon 600D/T3i and the Nikon D5100, but also comes with a bunch of facilities thanks to the SLT system: can shoot 12 fps, can shot HD video with autofocus, comes with image stabilization and filters/effects and a bunch of others.
