4K CABVIEW: Summertime local service to Kongsvinger (VY L14)

I have finally reached 1000 subscribers!!! This milestone means a lot to me and I will surely celebrate with something good to drink and eat tonight, together with my new video and you! It is summer! And for me, that means vacation. So it has been quiet on editing and filming. But this is me trying to get some more videos out. Hopefully more frequent from now on! For the train though, it means bug season. I tried to keep the windscreen clean but some got in the way anyways.The window washer fluid does not remove the insects, but only smears them out, which only makes the situation worse. Sadly, I do not have time to clean between stops, so please just bear with me. Todays journey starts in Lillestrøm (guess you all seen Oslo by now) and ends up in Kongsvinger. The line we are travelling on is named Kongsvingerbanen and was opened 1862. Just after Sørumsand station you can see an old narrow tracked railroad track named Aurskog-Hølandbanen. It was opened in 1896 and closed in 1960. It is possible to travel on this track with an old steam locomotive in the summer season. I have a return video from this trip that I will upload soon, where you can catch a glimse of the steam locomotive and some more trains and equipment used on this line. As we travel from Fetsund we make our way north-east along side with the river Glomma, the longest river in Norway, reaching almost 620 km. Together with other connected rivers the watercourse makes 13% of Norway's total area. Hope you enjoy this upload and hit that subscriber button. Stay tuned for more videos.
