This ride takes you around the stunning Barbaresco wine region. The region is part of Langhe, an official UNESCO World Heritage-listed site. It is a region of incredible beauty with breathtaking landscapes of gentle hills and ancient soil. The hilly landscapes are cultivated with wine as far as the eye can see. And on every hilltop, you will find a village or a castle. The ride starts in the principal city of the area, Alba. From here you venture into the Barbaresco wine region. You will soon find yourself on quiet back roads, where you can enjoy the outstanding scenery. The climbs will take you up high so you can enjoy the amazing view of the vineyards. The downhills are just as amazing. You will ride through charming villages such as Treiso, Barbaresco, and Neive. It is a region with a cycling history that dates all the way back to 1906 when the first edition of the GranPiemonte bike race took place. Giro d’Italia has also used the region for its race. The Langhe area is truly unique and a ride here should be on every cyclist's bucket list. Take your indoor cycling to the next level with our indoor cycling app Open Road: Dive into an immersive indoor cycling experience with our training app ’Open Road’ for Windows. The app lets you ride the ride for real and provides a better and more realistic indoor cycling experience compared to our ride-along videos on YouTube. The app is compatible with all ANT+ cycling devices, including smart trainers, power meters, and speed sensors. Athletes with spinning and exercise bikes without ANT+ compatibility can control the speed manually and enjoy riding with all the important cycling data displayed during the training session. But with music, opinions are very mixed. So we have added no music. Instead, we recommend adding your favorite music to the ride. It is quite simple. Mute YouTube and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, YouTube, etc…) and pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride...
