With no running water and scant electricity, where short-range radio is the only means of communication, modern life in the Jaluit Atoll presents many challenges for the Marshallese people. But there's also a strong sense of community, hope, and faith. In 2019, our team joined Nixon Jabnil, a local translator and church lay leader, on a journey around the atoll, visiting the four Salvation Army corps (churches) on the isolated islands.
