Orcs Must Die: Deathtrap receives the Arcane Update this week for FREE, adding a new war mage, three new traps, and six new maps to Orcs Must Die! This Arcane Update is going to add several highly requested features to the game, and doing so all for free. Six small maps will be arriving to Orcs Must Die: Deathtrap, improving the singleplayer experience with an array of fan-favourites. Orcs Must Die Deathtrap will be receiving Unrestricted Section, a rework of the Restricted Section map from Orcs Must Die: Unchained, coming to the game with new vertical placements. Next we have a fan favourite returning from the original Orcs Must Die game, with Order Bathhouse, a reimagining or The Baths, also seen in Orcs Must Die: Deathtrap. This map will allow you to utilise the hookshots and Harlow's windblast ability to rack up kills easily. For Compact Maps, Mansion Hedge Maze, Back Alleys, Castle Courtyards and Patio Gardens now have reworked, smaller variants allowing you to slay orcs in style with greater ease, especially when playing solo, with Mansion Hedge Maze allowing you to barricade the hedge maze itself, and Patio Gardens allowing you to barricade the library. Lastly we have the Unstable Orc enemy in Orcs Must Die: Deathtrap. This new enemy will also act as a new distortion in the game, allowing you to choose whether you want to face it or not. The Unstable Orc will explode once defeated, dealing damage in a large radius while disabling traps, adding a new level of difficulty when playing the game, while making Unstable Rifts harder to deal with. We also have the Alchemist NPC, a Spider merchant who will sell you the best elixirs in Orcs Must Die: Deathtrap, changing up threads, and possibly affecting traps.
