Mysterious Abandoned Ruins of Eastern Turkey 🇹🇷 (Kars Vlog)

🇹🇷 With the launch of the Eastern Express (Doğu Ekspresi) train, Kars has started to become a fairly mainstream destination. In this Eastern Turkey travel video, I wanted to show the less-frequented parts of the city. We started with Fethiye Mosque, formerly known to be a Russian Orthodox Church. Afterwards, we took a short walk downtown and chatted with a local man. Later, we explored the foothills of Kars Citadel where we found an old Armenian church and abandoned houses. We hiked up to the hills on the opposite side of the citadel, towards the more remote parts of Kars, and explored the old Russian-era ammunition depots and found an old Armenian cemetery with cross-carved tombstones.
