Lee violin: The "Anton Amara" instruments were one of William H. Lee advanced education models of instruments. This model is no longer made now, though it would be similar to C. Jean Pique (Current $3,750.00 USD) or William Bagnato models (Current $4,600.00 USD). These instruments are started overseas for our workshop, to William H. Lee specifications. The luthiers will then finish them off, off reworking thicknesses of the plates, doing the varnishing and completing the setup work - fingerboards, pegs, bridges, tailpieces and such. This keeps the cost of the instrument in the affordable range. For example, William H. Lee violins fully made in the workshop start usually around $8,000 (the WHLee Model 170).
