Together, they pay homage to the man behind 007. Nicholas Shakespeare is a prize-winning British novelist and biographer whose works have been translated into 22 languages. His 1994 novel, The Dancer Upstairs, was adapted into a film by John Malkovich, featuring Javier Bardem. His most recent publication is the critically acclaimed authorised biography of Ian Fleming. Matthew Parker was born in El Salvador and grew up in Britain, Norway and Barbados. An elected Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, he has lectured in Europe, the United States and the Caribbean.
