An IndiGo Delhi-Bengaluru flight made an emergency landing at Indore after an infant onboard developed a medical complication. The flight made an emergency landing at Indore airport on Wednesday evening at about 5:55PM. The child was suffering from hydrocephalus, which results in the accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid in the brain. The child was being taken to Bengaluru for emergency treatment when he began gasping on the flight. The flight left for Bengaluru after the child was taken to the hospital. Airports Authority of India (AAI) reported that the infant was rushed to Banthia hospital near the airport and was further referred to Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Science (SAIMS)’s hospital, but he could not be saved and was declared 'brought dead'.
