In a desperate attempt to escape, smugglers Bruce Knowles (56) and Ferhat Gumrukguoglu (32) leapt into the freezing sea, hoping to evade capture. But with officers surrounding the area, both men were quickly arrested. At Lowestoft port, the boat was searched and the massive haul of cocaine was revealed, marking a devastating blow to a reckless smuggling operation.
