I spent 9 days in Seoul, South Korea, over winter break, exploring some of the best places to visit in Seoul! My trip started with a flight from Shanghai to Seoul, and the first stop was getting my hair done at Eco Jardin Hair Salon. We went shopping in Myeongdong, a must-visit for beauty and fashion lovers, and explored Hongdae’s nightlife. On Day 3, we visited Ikseondong Hanok Village, got salt bread from Soha Salt Pond Café, walked through Insadong, and saw Gyeongbokgung Palace, one of Seoul’s top historical sites. We ended the night with Michelin-star KBBQ at Geumdwaeji Sikdang, famous for being visited by BTS, BLACKPINK, and G-Dragon. Day 4 was spent in Hannamdong, followed by dinner at a famous KBBQ restaurant where the 97 liners (BTS Jungkook, SEVENTEEN Mingyu, Astro Cha Eunwoo) ate. We revisited Myeongdong on Day 5, Hongdae on Day 6, and spent Day 7 in Seongsu, a trendy neighborhood known for its cafés and shopping, before heading to Namsan Tower for Seoul’s iconic skyline views. On Day 8, we visited the old BigHit Entertainment building (BTS fans, you’ll recognize this one!) and tried traditional Korean honey makgeolli. Day 9 was our last day before taking the Seoul Airport Bus back to Shanghai.
