Some tracks have a special meaning for me, this is and will remain one of them. When i was 20 years old, my career as a musician was starting up while i was studying Sociology at the University of Groningen. On a tragic day one of my old schoolfriends called me with the news that my best rave- and schoolfriend had suddently past away. This news stroke hard, and my feeling went numb for several years. This unfortunaltely led to loosing my passion for the thing i loved most: music. Moreover it contributed to mental health issues, where i will have to deal with for the rest of my life. My track Hardcore Survival Mode is in essence about losing, but more importantly regaining your true passion in life. I wish everybody who strugles in life to get the opportunity i had, by finding a new or regaining an old passion, whatever it may be. Most of all i want to thank my wife and all mental health professionals for making this possible!
