Frayed mic cable again in this video. One of several videos I filmed with a busted cable before realizing it needed replacement. Join us as we take the Ranger and our newly obtained Boston Whaler 130 Sport to Canyon Lake just outside of New Braunfels, TX. Today was a fun in the sun, no agenda kinda day. We swam, snorkeled, let the kids fish, met new friends, hung out on the island, and most importantly ran the snot out of the Whaler. We even pulled the kids behind it on tubes. Everyone had a blast. During this trip I discovered a spot under the cowling where a rod connected to the throttle cable was vibrating loose from the connection point causing the boat to lose throttle control.
