The only reward for defeating Jojora is an additional 500 EXP for a total of 1300 (and a few extra coins as well). (Though since you're forced to take hits from Jojora's attacks, you can't double the EXP with the Bonus Ring... well, unless you wait for Jojora to come back each time you counter the wand attack, which requires you to be doing so little damage to the friend that you don't defeat her first, since you can't skip turns in this game. I think it would be possible that way, but it would be pretty time-consuming.) Also, I guess I'm a little faster at button mashing than I used to be-- I'd only been able to get 9 hits with Fire Bros. and 5 hits with Cyclone Bros. on my last full playthrough of this game (which was in like 2007). If you're wondering why Luigi goes first, it's because I had the Beanstar Pants equipped on him. Note: Jojora has 50HP. Note 2: The "friend" you choose has no effect on the battle as far as I know-- contrary to what I've seen a few people say, all of them can drop the Sledge Heart.
