Today we are featuring some of our favorite entry-level drum sets and talking about some of the things we explain to customers (who aren’t familiar with drums) to help them better understand what to look for and what to expect when considering buying your first drum set. Entry level drum sets have made a lot of progress over the years so this is also a great opportunity to show off just how good these drum sets sound right out of the box. We go over different terms that you might hear like: shells, hardware, cymbals, stock heads etc. We explain what all of these terms mean in relation to drums and what are some of the more important terms or items that you should look for when buying your very first drum set. What are the different cymbals I should look for? What hardware pieces do I need? Should I replace the drum heads? What if something breaks? These are questions that we hear all the time from customers trying to navigate buying a first/entry level drum set. You can tell they are grasping at trying to understand more about this world of drums they may not know much about and that we love so much, so we are always happy to help them.
