Drones like the HoverAir X1/Pro/Pro Max and DJI Neo have radically changed the way that drones (or, selfie/flying cameras if you prefer!) are used. No longer are drones flying high (although these still can to some extent of course) but are often literally 'in your face'! They can and are flown indoors and they record excellent photos and videos and so, it stands to reason, that some people (like myself for example) will use them for things like VLogging or narrating their favourite scenes and you no longer have to do this be recording the video and audio separately and then manually joining/syncing them together as the drones (or, more precisely, the app/phone/external mic) can now capture decent quality audit too. The deal breaker for me is that all three drones that I have can not only record the audio content of the video in good quality but can miraculously remove the sound of the rotors too! Without this little (and generally seamless) technological trick, this just wouldn't work! This video (which includes an example taken on the HoverAir X1 at the end) covers the basics of how you do this (which is normally just a matter of opening the appropriate app (HoverAir or DJI Fly) before launching the drone and using your phone mic (I tend to use an external mic plugged into the USB port of the phone myself (see my other video - https://studio.youtube.com/video/_olJ...) for an example) and that's pretty much it (you may need to check the App/phone settings to ensure that the mic/recording of sound is enabled too in some cases).
